About the Event

The "From Realism to Creativity: Painting Workshop," hosted by the Hong Kong Arts with the Disabled Association, is designed to provide a comprehensive space for participants to explore their artistic potential. Starting with still-life subjects, the workshop guides learners through the fundamental analysis of lines, light, shadows, and color configurations.

Beyond technical skills, the curriculum emphasizes the development of creative thinking. Participants will learn to transcend simple realistic depiction by practicing imagination and creative transformation, incorporating personal emotions and inner reflections into their artworks. Throughout the eight sessions, students will not only master painting techniques but also develop a unique artistic vocabulary and personal style.

About the Instructor

The course is led by Autumn (麥秋.), an experienced art educator and creator. Autumn is dedicated to inspiring the artistic potential of students and provides tailored guidance, ensuring that participants of all levels can discover joy and make breakthroughs during the creative process.

Venue & Access

The workshop takes place at Room L3-04, Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC). Located at 30 Pak Tin Street, Shek Kip Mei, JCCAC is a landmark for the arts in Hong Kong. Participants can reach the venue by taking the MTR to Shek Kip Mei Station, followed by a 5-8 minute walk.
