Program Introduction
The Fundamental Musicianship and Vocal Training Class is designed to provide a solid musical foundation for beginners. Hosted by the HKAPA EXCEL and instructed by Chan Pui-shan, this course combines systematic theory with practical training to help students master music notation reading, rhythm recognition, and understanding of musical structure.
Highlights
The curriculum focuses on cultivating students' musical sensitivity, covering:
- Introduction to music theory
- Sight-reading training
- Understanding rhythms, scales, and time signatures
- Fundamental vocal exercises and vocalization techniques
Upon completion, students will be better prepared to transition into advanced vocal training and performance classes.
