The "Good Music This Lunch" series, presented by the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, returns for the 2026/2027 season, infusing the bustling city life with beautiful melodies. This popular free lunchtime concert series invites audiences to enjoy an hour of high-quality chamber music. These performances aim to bring classical music closer to the community, offering a refreshing and cultural break during the lunch hour.
Program
The concert will feature a diverse selection of classical and contemporary chamber works:
- Cambini: Trio for Flute, Oboe and Bassoon in G minor, Op. 45 No. 2
- Mendelssohn: String Quartet No. 1 in E-flat major, Op. 12
- Norman: "Racing Cars" (2004)
- Ewazen: "Frost Fire" (1990)
Performers
The performance features talented musicians from the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, including Akiyo Uesugi (Flute), Yuxi Xue (Oboe), Cheuk-long Chan (Violin), Yiqiao Lian (Viola), and Hsin-yu Lin (Cello), among others, promising a high-caliber chamber music experience.
