Overview

"Common Grounds" marks the debut production of SHIFT Dance Company, serving as a platform to manifest the company's artistic vision and explore the essence of human connection. The program brings together a diverse array of artistic styles and choreographic voices, utilizing dance as a universal language to delve into the intricate interactions between individuals.

This production features four premiere works choreographed by SHIFT Director Kelsey Ang, SHIFT artists Carlos Mendoza and Jon Ferrer, and acclaimed international choreographers Ashvinder Singh (Philippines) and Dario Dinuzzi (Italy/Canada). The performances are brought to life by a dynamic cast comprising both SHIFT company artists and young emerging performers, highlighting the diversity and inclusive nature of the contemporary dance scene.
