Overview
The "Saturday Movie Screening" is a flagship community engagement project by the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC). Throughout 2026, JCCAC continues its partnership with MOViE MOViE to explore the theme of "Life." Every month, a carefully curated contemporary feature film is screened, inviting the audience to reflect on modern emotions, psychological boundaries, and social structures through the lens of cinema.
The featured film for June is "Greta" (2018), directed by Neil Jordan. The story follows Frances, a young woman who moves to New York and strikes up a close friendship with an older piano teacher, Greta. Their bond, initially warm and supportive, takes a dark and terrifying turn when Frances uncovers a sinister secret hidden behind Greta's elegant facade.
