Formed in Brooklyn in 2011, DIIV has established itself as a leading force in the post-punk and shoegaze scene. Following the critical acclaim of their debut Oshin, the success of Is the Is Are, and the intense atmosphere of their 2019 release Deceiver, the band has continuously evolved their sound. Their 2024 album, Frog in Boiling Water, delves into themes of societal anxiety and existentialism. In 2026, after a nine-year hiatus, DIIV returns to Hong Kong, featuring material from their recent live album Boiled Alive alongside fan favorites, promising an immersive dream-pop and shoegaze wall of sound.
