Exhibition Overview

As part of the 'Chinese Culture Festival 2026,' the 'Heluo Culture Bonds Hong Kong' exhibition, presented by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Hong Kong Member Association, brings the profound cultural heritage of the Henan region to Hong Kong. As a cradle of Chinese civilization, the Heluo region is renowned for its achievements in calligraphy, painting, astronomy, and traditional craftsmanship. This exhibition offers a multifaceted look at these treasures, bridging the ancient capital's splendor with contemporary appreciation.

Exhibition Highlights

Spanning six thematic zones, the exhibition provides a multidimensional experience. Visitors can explore carefully curated cultural relics and documents from the Han-Wei capital, reviving the historical magnificence of Luoyang. A significant focus is placed on intangible cultural heritage, featuring:

  • Zhuxian Town Woodblock Prints: Preserving traditional folk printmaking techniques.
  • Luoyang Palace Lanterns: Intricate examples of traditional craftsmanship.
  • Paper-cutting and Embroidery: Demonstrating refined folk artistry.

Beyond static displays, the exhibition includes dynamic demonstrations and interactive sessions, such as a Wu Zetian-themed costume experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Tang Dynasty aesthetics and connect traditional crafts with modern city life.
