Program
The concert opens with Schumann's "Genoveva" Overture, which sets a dramatic tone with its strong rhythmic drive and distinct thematic contrasts. Following this, pianist Tsui Chun-yin will perform Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 1, showcasing a brilliant interplay between the soloist and the orchestra, blending technical virtuosity with poetic expression. The second half features Dvorak's monumental Symphony No. 7, known for its profound musical language and cumulative emotional progression, transporting the audience into a world of symphonic power.
