Highlights
The "Hong Kong Youth Music Camp," organized by the Music Office, is a flagship annual summer event. This year, approximately 400 vibrant young musicians gather to receive expert guidance from international, Mainland, and Hong Kong musical masters. Through rigorous training and rehearsals, participants expand their musical horizons and present their achievements in two exciting summer showcase concerts.
Program
The camp culminates in two concerts led by six resident conductors, showcasing the students' hard work and talent:
Concert (I): July 26 (Sun) 3pm
- Featured: Symphony Orchestra, Youth Chinese Orchestra, and Children's Choir
- Venue: Yuen Long Theatre Auditorium
Concert (II): August 2 (Sun) 3pm
- Featured: Chinese Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Youth String Orchestra
- Venue: Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall
Each concert runs for approximately 2 hours with an intermission, making them perfect family-friendly events to experience the passion of young musicians.

The camp features distinguished resident conductors, including:
- Van Beselaere (France)
- Dr. Cui Yuanyuan (Mainland China)
- Dr. Wang Huiwen (Canada)
- Professor Chen Bing (Mainland China)
- Professor Williams (USA)
- Sit Tsz-ho (Hong Kong, China) They guide the diverse orchestras through their respective musical programs.
