Highlights
The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra proudly presents this "National Day Concert," featuring a stellar lineup of international talent. The concert welcomes pianist Zitong Wang, a laureate of the International Chopin Piano Competition and hailed by Chopin Courier as "one of the most compelling figures" of the competition. Under the baton of Yuan Ding, Principal Resident Conductor of the China National Opera House, the evening promises a powerful musical narrative.
The repertoire ranges from the delicate harmonies of Chinese composer Yao Chen’s "The Garden" to the virtuosic and whimsical nature of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3, concluding with the deep, turbulent emotional landscape of Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 1.
