About the Event
The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of acclaimed conductor Jean-Christophe Spinosi, presents a magnificent celebration of 18th-century music. This concert explores the depth and brilliance of the Baroque and Classical eras through carefully curated masterpieces.
The programme features Bach's vibrant Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F major and the profound Symphony No. 41 in C major, "Jupiter" by Mozart, arguably the pinnacle of the classical symphonic tradition. Audiences will also be treated to Vivaldi's Bassoon Concerto in A minor and selected movements from Handel's Water Music, offering an evening of elegance and virtuosity.
