Highlights

The Hong Kong Repertory Theatre presents the reading theatre production 'Multiple Love Life Game,' a piece that was a finalist for the 61st Kishida Kunio Drama Award. Through the distinct format of reading theatre, the performance delves into the definitions of non-traditional emotional relationships and the boundaries of love and freedom in contemporary society.

Program

The story follows a high school teacher, Angel, who embarks on an experimental three-person cohabitation with Moon and Tiger. Within this emotional utopia, they struggle to maintain a delicate balance between jealousy and acceptance. However, when an old acquaintance, Alice, who believes in monogamy, intervenes, and a former student, Gundam, makes a sudden confession, the polyamorous relationship faces intense psychological conflict and the threat of collapse. Playwright Riko Onoma uses subtle, everyday dialogue to reveal the confusion and desires inherent in modern intimacy.
