This spectacular joint concert is a highlight of the 2026 World Choral Festival — Hong Kong, presented by the World Youth Choral Artists' Association. The event showcases a unique dialogue between exceptional youth choirs from Latvia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong, promising an world-class vocal experience.
Performers
Kamēr... Youth Choir (Latvia)
Founded in 1990, this ensemble is one of the world's most influential youth choirs. It holds the unique distinction of winning the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing four times. Currently led by Artistic Director Jurģis Cābulis, they are renowned for their profound artistic vision and professional standards.
New Zealand Secondary School Choir (NZSSC)
Established in 1986, this national ensemble brings together 60 talented students aged 13-18, selected through national auditions every two years. They are consistent international prize winners, having achieved numerous gold medals at World Choir Games and the 'World Choir Grand Prix'.
The Sound of Madness (Hong Kong)
A youth chamber choir founded in 2021, The Sound of Madness is the first Hong Kong mixed choir invited to perform at the World Choral Summit by the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM). They have achieved significant acclaim in international competitions across Italy and Bulgaria.
