The 4th Fenglei Dance Platform "If You Miss Me, Come See My Paintings!"

The Hong Kong Dance Company proudly presents the 4th "Fenglei Dance Platform," an annual event dedicated to promoting contemporary choreography and cross-cultural artistic dialogue. This year, they collaborate with the international creative duo "Xuan Nian Space" (choreographers Shi Xuan and Zhou Niannian) to bring the brand-new contemporary dance production, "If You Miss Me, Come See My Paintings!" This piece is more than a mere dance performance; it is a profound spiritual exploration. Inspired by the philosophy of 20th-century Chinese art master Wu Guanzhong, the creative team transforms the essence of his ink paintings—the interplay of dots, lines, and planes—into fluid movement, guiding the audience through a sensory journey that facilitates an artistic dialogue across time and space.
