Highlights
"Plant Hunter" is an educational event that combines indoor science workshops with outdoor ecological exploration. Participants will have the opportunity to personally open plant fossils to uncover secrets from millions of years ago, and be guided by professionals into the Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve to search for designated plants in a "mission" format, with the potential to discover hidden organisms.
Program
This 3-hour event is designed to give participants a comprehensive understanding of species development and evolution. The activity is divided into two phases:
- Indoor Fossil Exploration: Learn about major plant events in geological history and experience opening plant fossils firsthand.
- Outdoor Ecological Treasure Hunt: Step out of the classroom and go to the Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve for a guided ecological tour, applying theoretical knowledge to field observations and experiencing the wonders of nature.
Ticketing
- Early Bird: HK$580 (Must register on or before June 30th, 23:59)
- Standard: HK$680
- Fee Includes: Fossil materials, recording tools, and one-way transport.

- Recommended for ages 6 and above.
- Children aged 5-13 must be accompanied by a parent.
- Places are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
