About the Performance

Hong Kong Shax proudly presents its 2026 Annual Performance, featuring a captivating adaptation of Shakespeare's "As You Like It," reimagined within the grand world of Greek mythology. In this unique production, the story of Arden Forest is transformed into a realm of exile and transformation, inviting the audience to reflect on identity, change, and freedom.

This production is the culmination of a six-week intensive summer workshop involving 100 young talents, including 60 young actors aged 8 to 16, as well as young musicians and stage crew. Under the guidance of professional theater practitioners, the cast will perform with live orchestral music, elaborate costumes, and professional stage lighting, demonstrating their growth in confidence and creative collaboration.
