Highlights
"Melon’s Weight" marks the debut exhibition of House of Melon, an artistic project designed to inspire reflection on the weight of life through creative expression. This special collaboration with the "Comforting End-of-Life Service" (慰心善終服務) uses a cast of personified "little melons" to portray stories and struggles across different stages of life. It is more than just a visual art exhibition; it is a healing journey exploring love, release, and self-discovery.
Program
The exhibition features a diverse array of media, including illustrations, digital art, and multimedia installations. Using the metaphor of "slicing open a melon," the artist symbolizes the act of cutting through life’s troubles, inviting viewers to reassess the weight of these burdens. Through the exhibits, visitors can feel the creator's delicate observation of life’s details and contemplate the lightness and heaviness of existence hidden beneath the surface of everyday life.
Performers
On the opening day, independent musician Oreo Lai will be invited for a special live performance. The interaction between music and the exhibition space will offer visitors a resonant sensory and spiritual experience.
