The Hong Kong Playground Association (HKPA) is set to host its territory-wide Flag Day on August 15, 2026. This year, the event features an exciting collaboration with popular illustrator Mefulness, centered around the theme of "5 Big Healths" to raise vital funds for local youth development services. The campaign aims to provide positive energy and support for the younger generation.
Design Highlights
The flag sticker designs focus on five essential pillars of well-being: social, mental, physical, financial, and network health. Through the inclusion of adorable characters like "Fufu Flower," "Pu Ying Ying," and "Tai Qing Qing," the campaign aims to spread positive energy and encouragement to young people across Hong Kong, raising public awareness about youth development.
How to Support
All proceeds from the Flag Day will go directly towards the HKPA's youth services and development programs, which include diverse support and guidance for the younger generation. There are several ways to participate:
- Online Donation: Donate easily via PayMe, WeChat Pay HK, or credit card from now until August 15. Donations of HK$100 or more are eligible for tax-deductible receipts.
- Volunteer Registration: Join as a volunteer to assist with flagging on the streets. Volunteers will receive a certificate of service upon completion.
