New Town Plaza proudly presents "Shatin Amusement · Memory Kill" this summer 2026, an immersive event designed to bridge generational gaps through the collision of vintage nostalgia and Gen Z trends. From the classic street vibes of the 70s to the latest pop music culture, this cross-generational summer festival invites you to revisit the good old days while discovering the vibrant interests of the new generation.

Highlights

1. Cantopop Nostalgia Makeover Party

A vibrant party held on July 10th at Play Park. With a ticket, you will be transported into a high-energy Cantopop music event, featuring iconic 80s and 90s Aerobics Dance moves. Participants are encouraged to arrive in retro-style outfits, reliving the golden era of Hong Kong music in a fun, rhythmic atmosphere.

2. "Good Times" Retro Tuck Shop Pop-up

Located at New Town Plaza Phase 1 West Wing. In collaboration with "Good Times," this pop-up accurately recreates the classic Hong Kong tuck shop (士多) aesthetic. Shop for nostalgic snacks and toys from yesteryear, and enjoy photo spots featuring retro gacha machines and tiled-wall designs—perfect for influencers and families looking to reminisce.

3. Joyful Play · Classic Game Zone

In collaboration with "World of Fun," Play Park is bringing back the pure joy of classic arcade gaming. The zone features iconic physical games, including the tile-tossing "掟階磚" (tile-tossing for gum) and "Horse Racing" machines. Don't miss the claw machines filled with nostalgic snacks—test your skills and win your favorite childhood treats.
