Art Intelligence Global is proud to present "The Uncanny", an evocative group exhibition opening in Hong Kong on March 21, 2026. Staged in the vibrant art hub of Wong Chuk Hang, the show aligns with the excitement of Art Basel Hong Kong, inviting visitors to delve into the psychological complexities of the familiar.

Exhibition Concept

Taking inspiration from the Freudian concept of the Uncanny—where the ordinary becomes unsettling—this exhibition features nine influential 20th-century artists. Through their historical masterpieces, the collection examines how memory, desire, and anxiety permeate our daily existence, transforming domestic and mundane settings into landscapes of deep emotional resonance. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the works as a lens for self-reflection.

Visit Details

The exhibition is hosted at the Art Intelligence Global gallery space in the TS Tower. It will run daily through the busy art week and continue into May 2026, providing ample opportunity for both local collectors and international visitors to experience these rare pieces.

While this exhibition stands as a primary cultural event, guests are encouraged to explore the surrounding creative community in the Wong Chuk Hang industrial district. Please refer to our Venue Details for transport access and nearby points of interest. As the event coincides with the global art calendar, early planning for your visit to the district is recommended to navigate peak crowds effectively during the Art Basel period.
