The concert embodies the philosophy of "rooted in tradition, innovating with determination." Audiences will experience a multi-dimensional showcase of northern and southern Chinese music styles, including arrangements for wujiatou, qijiatou, and hard-bow wujiatou. The repertoire features a rich selection of pieces: "Song of Happiness," "Xunfeng Qu," "Yongnan," "Xing Jie," "Entertainment," "Banana Leaves in the Rain," "Flowing Clouds," "Curtain of Pearls," "Linked Rings," and the Gaohu ensemble piece "The Tiger Descending the Mountain." Interactive commentary will be interspersed throughout the performance to provide insights into the cultural depth and history behind these musical traditions.
