Program Introduction

"We All Interviewed for Our First Choice" is a dark comedy stage play that deeply critiques Hong Kong's competitive education culture. The story centers on the Tan family: Tan Hejiafen, a mother who calculates every opportunity, and Tan Zhengxian, a struggling counselor. Obsessed with securing their children's places in elite "top-tier" schools, they transform their home into a pressure cooker. However, upon entering the elite school, their children discover a bizarre device known as the "Wise-Thinker," which promises to bypass the hardships of learning and ensure one becomes "Number One" automatically. Behind this convenience lies a brainwashing conspiracy that turns students into soulless robots. Can the protagonists expose the mad conspiracy of Professor Ying before it is too late?
