Overview
"Tears Rippled by Water-Natured" is a theatrical production that weaves together four distinct short stories, all centered around the metaphorical imagery of water. This performance delves deep into the delicate and volatile currents of human relationships, taking the audience through various facets of human experience:
- The Hot Pot Lid: A mother discovers her daughter's sex toy, leading to a tense confrontation in a confined kitchen over a boiling hot pot, symbolizing hidden conflicts within family dynamics.
- The Girl Without Toes: A story about a girl who hides her perceived physical flaws, feeling inferior in love, until a trip to a mountain hot spring allows her to observe the diverse, unimaginable qualities of other bodies submerged in the water.
- The Shower's Rain Cloud: A shower transforms into a personal conservatory, surrounding a lonely protagonist with the plants she cultivates.
- Ghost in the Sheep Placenta Water: A woman born with a deficiency in sheep placenta water faces a complex pregnancy, where a long-lost fetus manifests as a ghost within her uterus, engaging in a dialogue with new life.
Through these narratives, the performance invites the audience to explore the self and embrace vulnerability amidst the "boiling" and "warm" currents of life.
