Out of Focus

Overview

"Out of Focus" is a collaborative theatrical production created by a diverse group of actors ranging from 20 to 70 years old. Inspired by Arthur Miller's classic play "Focus," this performance weaves the actors' authentic life stories into the narrative to examine how we label others and how those labels shape our lives. The production aims to encourage audiences to reflect on the human stories hidden behind the labels we often take for granted.

Performers & Production Team

This production features a wide array of talent from different generations, directed by Kung Yun-man and Poon Kwok-kuen. The cast includes Kwok Lai-ying, Cheung Wai-hong, So Pak-see, Cheung Yuet-ying, Chan Man-lok, Fung Oi-ho, Fung Lok-yi, Chow Chi-ying, Lo Wah-chi, Lam Ying-tung, So Yin-hor, Lau Wing-lam, Fook Wai-kuen, Szeto Tak-chi, Chau Choi-lam, Chow Mei-ling, Leung Yan-chi, Tam Wai-hang, Wong Yun-sin, Tong Chi-yin, Ching Pui-han, Ng Wai-kuen, Leung Chi-kwong, and So Tak-wah. Lighting design is by Lee Chun-wai.
