The International Arts Carnival 2026 returns this summer, bringing a spectacular array of arts and entertainment designed for families across Hong Kong. From July 9 to August 16, 2026, the city will transform into a creative playground featuring world-class productions, interactive workshops, and immersive theatre experiences. Whether you are seeking a musical, a dance performance, or a hands-on workshop, this year's lineup ensures every child and parent finds something magical.
Featured International Productions
This year, the carnival proudly showcases international talent. The UK's Motionhouse presents Starlight, a breathtaking blend of dance and aerial acrobatics that turns the stage into outer space. For our youngest spectators (aged 1-3), the Canadian Moth & Tulip performance The Little Nest offers a sensory-rich artistic journey. Other highlights include the Korean musical The Little Musician’s Ice Adventure, the Spanish Alacala Dance Company's playful Game Time!, and the UK's Little Carrot with their heartwarming Teddy Bear Concert.
Local Creations and Workshops
We are also showcasing the best of local artistry, including the Nanyin Theatre's Little Hei's Carefree Journey, the musical Reaching for the Sky, and the enchanting children’s opera Alice in Wonderland: New Adventures in the Looking-Glass. Beyond stage shows, attendees can participate in family-friendly workshops, film screenings, and backstage tours to deepen their appreciation for the arts.
