Siu Yam Theatre's 9th Youth Theatre Troupe proudly presents its graduation production, "The Outsider." This performance delves into the core concept of being an "outsider," leading the audience through the complexities of loneliness, regret, obsession, and moral judgment. This production serves as a culmination of the troupe members' rigorous training, showcasing their artistic growth and deep commitment to the craft of theatre. Witness the young performers' detailed emotional range and dynamic stage presence as they navigate these intricate life stories.

Program

The production is divided into two alternating sets, each exploring distinct themes:

• Set A: "The Laggard" + "Entangled" Explores rhythm, emotion, and the struggle to reconnect in a fast-paced world.
• Set B: "Missing Person Notice" + "Nang Dak Lei Store" Examines humanity and the difficult choices made within changing environments.

Featuring a talented cast including Wong Hei-to, Cheng Tsz-kei, Tam Sze-man, Mok Cheuk-ki, Lau Sze-man, Ngai Tsz-wai, Ip Ka-hung, Yeung Yat-kiu, Kwong Wing-chun, Choi Cheong-lik, Ma Cheuk-lam, Yau Ching-yan, Cheung Po-yuet, Wan Tin-lai-wan, Wong Sze-ching, Chan Hiu-tung, Au Pak-him, Chan Sze-ting, Ip Ying-wun, Tang Pui-nam, and Muk Tit-hon.

Production Team

Directed by Tsang Tsz-man, with stage and lighting design by Lee Wai-man and sound design by Chan Kwun-wang, the production boasts a professional team including video technician Chan Ka-ho and stylist Yuen Yuk-ying. The performance also integrates the efforts of students from the "3rd Stage and Production Arts Training and Internship Program" at Siu Yam Theatre to ensure a professional and comprehensive theatrical experience.
