Overview

AIRSIDE GATE33 Gallery is proud to present the inaugural 'CREATIVE CHILDREN FESTIVAL 2026' this summer. This unique family art experience is designed around the three pillars of 'Curious Imagination,' 'Emotional Care,' and 'Collaborative Creation,' aiming to provide a meaningful growth journey for both parents and children. Tailored for children aged 3 to 12, the festival harnesses the power of art to guide them in exploring and embracing their emotions.

Exhibition Highlights: The Little Creative Monster Project

The centerpiece of the festival is the immersive art exhibition, 'The Little Creative Monster Project.' Curated by experts, art therapists, and educators, the exhibition features five interactive creation zones. Guided by 'Me-Zai,' the giant blue furry monster, families will engage their sense of touch and imagination to recognize and embrace inner emotions. Upon entry, participants will receive a designer weaving tool and a DIY little monster to start their creative adventure.

Program: STEAM Workshops

Beyond art, the festival features STEAM workshops designed for children aged 6-12 to stimulate logical thinking:

  • Roman Catapult Workshop: Kids will explore the principles of levers, physics, and mechanics while building models.
  • Solar-Powered Car Workshop: Children will assemble their own wooden, solar-powered cars to discover the wonders of energy forms and conversion.

Venue & Access

The event takes place at GATE33 Gallery (Shop 312), 3/F, AIRSIDE, Kai Tak. Located in the heart of Kai Tak, the venue is easily accessible via the MTR Kai Tak Station, with convenient pedestrian connections directly into the mall.
