Explore the hidden textures and structural rhythms of the city in Urban Layers: Photography Walk through Architecture and Culture. Hosted by the Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC), this workshop invites participants to look beyond the facade of Hong Kong’s dense urban fabric. Led by professional photographer and instructor Law Yuen-ting, the session blends technical photography instruction with a thoughtful observation of architectural aesthetics. Participants will navigate various locations to capture how light, shadow, and geometry define our unique cityscape.

Programme Highlights

  • Architectural Observation: Learn to identify and frame structural details and urban patterns.
  • Technical Guidance: Receive hands-on tips from Law Yuen-ting on capturing high-contrast environments and perspectives.
  • Cultural Dialogue: Engage in a deeper understanding of how historical and modern buildings shape the rhythm of daily life in Hong Kong.
