Step into the world of the Renaissance this festive season! The "Jingle Joy Christmas Art Camp" is specifically designed for budding artists aged 7 and above. Join us as we journey through time to explore the artistic realms of giants like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael. This course not only enhances painting and drawing skills but also emphasizes observation, creative expression, and a lasting passion for art history, helping children develop a keen eye for aesthetics and an appreciation for history and culture.

Program Details

Led by instructor Chiang Chi-ming, the course is divided into six progressive units:

  1. Entry to the Renaissance: In-depth study of the background and appreciation of famous works by Da Vinci and Michelangelo.
  2. Da Vinci's Sketches: Mastering basic sketching techniques and replicating the proportions of the "Vitruvian Man".
  3. Michelangelo's Sculpture: Practicing three-dimensional forms and observational drawing using the bust of David.
  4. Color and Light: Enhancing skills in watercolor and exploring the light effects found in Raphael's works.
  5. Religious Themes: Analysis of iconic works like "The Last Supper" and creating original religious-themed art.
  6. Creative Mixed Media: Integrating inspiration from the Renaissance style to experiment with different media and personal creation.

Ticketing Information

  • Fee: HKD 1490 (includes a HKD 100 material fee).
  • Early Bird Offer: Enjoy a 10% discount for registration on or before September 30.
  • Other Discounts: 10% discount for Hong Kong Arts Centre Members (Single/Joint), Patrons, and Corporate Patrons. A 5% discount is available for sign-ups of two or more.
