About the Exhibition

Long before the internet and smartphones defined our perception of travel, Miroslav Šašek's "This is..." series was a primary window through which people explored distant cities and cultures. His unique artistic style and keen observational humor brought the souls of metropolises like New York, Paris, and Rome to life on paper.

Presented by Wyndham Social, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong, the EUNIC Hong Kong cluster, and local cultural brand ditto ditto, this exhibition pays homage to Šašek’s lasting cultural impact.

The experience is multifaceted:

• Bookazine Pop-up Shop: A curated selection of the complete "This is..." collection will be available for purchase, alongside limited-edition exhibition merchandise.
• Thematic Culinary Experience: Wyndham Social has partnered with 33 Wyndham Street dining partners, Heimathk and Cassiohongkong, to offer an exclusive menu of themed delicacies. This adds a sensory dimension to the exhibition, allowing guests to taste the flavors of the cities Šašek so beautifully illustrated.

Venue & Access

The exhibition is hosted at LG, LKF Tower, 33 Wyndham Street, Central. Its prime location in the heart of the city makes it highly accessible via public transport. Visitors are advised to take the MTR to Central Station and walk from Exit D1 or D2.
