Upcycling & Reshaping: Marine Waste Art Installation Co-Creation Workshop

Overview

"Upcycling & Reshaping" is more than just a workshop; it is an opportunity to engage in a dialogue between sustainability and art. Presented by the Hong Kong Arts Centre, this event invites the public to collaborate with "Gaau1 Up Design Studio" and "Cradle" to transform marine plastic waste into art through the practice of upcycling.

Highlights

Participants will get hands-on experience in co-creating a large-scale art installation, turning discarded plastics into a piece of meaningful aesthetic work. A highlight of this project is that the completed installation will be showcased in the Hong Kong Arts Centre Atrium, displayed alongside marine debris artworks by the renowned artist Fang Lijun. This allows participants' collaborative efforts to become a part of a professional art exhibition.
