Program Overview

The Heart Flying Dance Troupe proudly presents its 25th Anniversary performance, 'Like Light, Like Dance,' a feast celebrating dance and vitality. This showcase highlights the troupe's years of artistic accumulation through diverse performance formats and immersive experiences.

Highlights

• Diverse Formats: The September 12th performances, presented by the 'Heart Flying Dance Troupe' and 'Dancing Heart Flying,' offer a traditional seated viewing experience.
• Immersive Theatre: The September 13th shows, presented by 'Heart Flying 2,' feature a unique roaming theater element. Audience members choose their experience during ticketing: 'Mountain' (seated viewing) or 'Sea' (roaming the performance area).
• Inclusive Arts: Sign language interpretation is provided during the performances, promoting inclusivity and ensuring dance is accessible to everyone.
• Post-Show Dialogue: Each session includes a post-performance talk, with a total duration of approximately 1.5 hours, providing an opportunity for engagement with the choreographers and dancers.

Production Team

Presented by St. James' Settlement Leisure Services and co-organized by the St. James' Settlement Jockey Club Art Academy, the production is guided by renowned dance consultant Wang Ting-lam, with choreography by Wong Wing-yan and Wang Yao, alongside a dedicated ensemble of professional dancers.
