Program Overview

"Love Has Sizes" is a profound theatrical work that uses the closet as a metaphor to explore women's reflections on their lives, relationships, and societal expectations. Opening a closet is like opening the archive of one's life: the sharp suit worn during career battles, the evening gown from grand occasions, or the old skirt one cannot bear to throw away—each piece of clothing measures the distance of relationships. Directed by Alan Lyddiard and featuring five female performers, the play uses humor and candor on stage to share stories about body image, compromising for love, and the journey of starting over after loss. The performance invites the audience to re-measure the "size" of love and reflect on how we can "tailor-make" our lives to embrace our own choices.
