Highlights

The 2nd Hong Kong Golden Age Arts Festival focuses on the creativity and stage charisma of golden-age artists, showcasing a series of theatre and musical performances that reflect the depth of life experiences accumulated over the years. Through these works, audiences are invited to witness the unique interpretations of life, love, and memory by these seasoned performers.

Programs

The festival presents four distinct performances:

  1. "Love in Sizes" (Sept 9-12): Using clothing to measure the distance in relationships, exploring the tightness and looseness of love and life.
  2. "Harmony of Sheng and Harmonica" Silver-Haired Concert (Sept 13): Featuring five musical groups performing Chinese music and harmonica, led by veteran musicians with decades of experience.
  3. "The Balance" (Sept 15-16): Stories of Guangzhou golden-age friends navigating the passage of time, loss, and finding balance in life.
  4. "The Third Vertebra" (Sept 19-20): A group of senior actors weaves together their extraordinary personal experiences, encouraging audiences to be winners in their own lives.
