Overview

"Aether Butoh Workshop - Summer (2)" is curated by Tse Ka-ho, designed to guide participants into the world of Butoh through deep physical exploration. The workshop focuses on "Body Boundaries and Transformation," examining the critical concept of transformation in Butoh performance. Through Aether Butoh's unique foundational training, participants will learn to purify their minds and bodies, stabilize their physical condition, and translate microscopic Butoh imagery into concrete movements, developing a personal, non-verbal performance language.

Target Audience

This workshop is open to anyone aged 16 or above, particularly those seeking long-term, systematic physical exploration. No prior dance experience is required, making it an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in physical movement. It is also highly recommended for artists with backgrounds in dance, physical theatre, or performance art who wish to deepen their practice.
