Program Overview

'House' is a story of fragmentation, memory, and the journey toward self-redemption. The protagonist, Xing, has been isolated since losing the most important people in his life, focusing solely on caring for his father who suffers from dementia. His mundane routine at a local tea restaurant is disrupted by the appearance of a mysterious woman, 'W', and a girl named Ah Mui, introduced by a friend. As these two women enter his life, the memories he struggled to forget begin to resurface, unearthing deep-seated traumas.

In parallel, the narrative follows a woman confined to a psychiatric facility for reasons unknown. A son abandoned by his mother, and a mother who left her child—these two seemingly unrelated paths collide in the gaps of fate, posing the question: can they truly see each other? As a staged reading, this production focuses on the raw power of the text and the nuanced delivery of the actors, inviting the audience to journey into the deepest, most vulnerable corners of the human heart.
