Highlights
The Whampoa cordially invites you to the "Thai Fun Festival - Thai Lifestyle Market" this August. This weekend-exclusive event brings the vibrant essence of Thailand to Hung Hom, featuring a variety of popular Thai street foods, including classic pandan layer cakes, mango sticky rice, and rich Thai milk tea, transporting your taste buds straight to Thailand. Beyond the culinary delights, the market offers a collection of unique creative lifestyle goods, from handmade tie-dye clothing and intricate woven bags to exotic accessories that perfectly showcase Thai lifestyle aesthetics.
Program
Throughout the event, The Whampoa has meticulously planned four "Thai FUN Handicraft Workshops," inviting the public to create their own unique cultural items. Whether it is a soothing massage hammer or a creative soap styled like Thai desserts, these workshops offer a perfect way to spend a chill and fulfilling holiday.
Activities & Workshops
- "Thai" Relaxation Massage Hammer Workshop (August 15): Craft your own natural stress-relief tool using natural mugwort, lavender, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves.
- Cendol Handmade Soap Workshop (August 16): Create adorable, summer-themed handmade soap inspired by the popular Cendol dessert.
- Thai Woven Bracelet Workshop (August 22): Learn traditional weaving techniques and choose colorful cotton threads to create a one-of-a-kind ethnic-style bracelet.
- Thai Mango Smoothie Handmade Soap Workshop (August 23): Inspired by mango smoothies, make exquisite and realistic soap creations that are perfect for summer photos.
