Highlights
"The Cycle Juicer" is a captivating exhibition that gathers the creative spirits of three talented street artists from Hong Kong and Macau. Beyond being a visual showcase, it serves as a profound dialogue on urban observation, inviting viewers to rethink the evolution of their living environments. The artists utilize street art to distill the complexities of urban life into a unique visual language, creating deep resonance with the audience.
Program
The exhibition features three artists who grew up within vibrant street cultures: DEVS (Hong Kong), PIBG2038 (Macau), and MCZ. Deeply influenced by the constant shifts in urban landscapes, they treat fragments of daily life—including consumer symbols, social emotions, and urban textures—as raw materials for their work. They "squeeze," "grind," and "filter" these elements, transforming them into vibrant visual art pieces. The exhibition explores how artists leave unique marks in these small cities amidst the tides of colonialism, globalization, and urban transformation. The intertwining of lines, styles, and shapes on display is the direct output of the metaphorical "Cycle Juicer." This exhibition invites visitors into a meditative space regarding urban transformation and rebirth.
