Program
The story follows two lonely souls abandoned by fate: a father who lost his daughter and a girl who has never experienced fatherly love. Meeting unexpectedly in a hospice ward, they are both there to help others complete their final journeys. However, amidst the process of facilitating farewells, they are forced to confront their own unhealed, deep-seated wounds. If loss is an inevitable lesson for everyone, what can we leave behind before turning away? After the loss, how do we coexist with our scars and find the courage to continue living?
Performers
The production is presented by the HKRep Education Centre, directed by veteran theater director Chan Wing-chuen and written by Lai Yiu-ming. The cast features accomplished actors Kiu Po-chung, Chan Hui-lei, and Lau Wai-tung, who will bring these heartfelt stories of love and letting go to life with nuanced performances.
