The SHKP Hong Kong Cyclothon 2026 returns as one of the city's premier cycling events, marking a new milestone with a brand-new hub. This year, the event moves its start and finish line to the vibrant West Kowloon Cultural District, offering a spacious and accessible venue for all participants. Over 6,000 local and international cyclists are expected to take part, enjoying a professional riding experience against the stunning backdrop of the Victoria Harbour skyline.
Race Categories
The event features two main categories tailored to different skill levels:
- 56km Challenge: A professional-grade route for endurance riders. Starting in Tsim Sha Tsui, cyclists will traverse the Cheung Tsing Tunnel to Tsing Mun, conquer the Tsing Ma Bridge, Ting Kau Bridge, Nam Wan Tunnel, Stonecutters Bridge, Eagle's Nest Tunnel, and Sha Tin Heights Tunnel. The route is also expected to include the newly opened Central Kowloon Route before finishing at West Kowloon.
- 32km Ride: A popular choice for intermediate cyclists. The route begins in Tsim Sha Tsui and takes participants through the Cheung Tsing Tunnel, Ting Kau Bridge, Nam Wan Tunnel, and Stonecutters Bridge, returning to West Kowloon.
