Highlights

"The Cycle Juicer" Art Collaboration Exhibition is a joint project by three street-bred artists from Hong Kong and Macau: DEVS, PIBG2038, and MCZ. Through this exhibition, they explore how the two cities—shaped by colonial history, reunification, and the tides of globalization—interact and transform. By utilizing street art as their medium, the artists investigate how to create unique imprints within a shifting urban landscape.

The artists view the overwhelming visual stimuli, consumer symbols, and social emotions of daily city life as "raw materials." By crushing, straining, and filtering these elements, they synthesize them into a distinct "visual language" of lines, styles, and shapes. The artists define themselves as the "juicer" itself, processing the chaotic urban reality into artistic essence.

Program

Living in a fast-paced urban environment means being constantly bombarded with information. In this exhibition, the artists act as a conduit, distilling the complexities of city life into their creative work. The exhibits reflect their profound insights into the contemporary urban landscape and their search for expressive outlets and possibilities for rebirth while living in a "compressed" urban environment.

Performers

  • DEVS: A Hong Kong-based street artist focusing on the reconstruction of urban spaces and symbols.
  • PIBG2038: A Macau-based street artist known for his vibrant use of color and structure to challenge urban monotony.
  • MCZ: A Macau-based street artist who captures the spirit of the city through a powerful visual vocabulary.

The surrounding area is vibrant and filled with a "literary youth" atmosphere, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll to explore historical buildings and art galleries after the exhibition.
