Program

As one of the pinnacles of classical ballet, 'The Sleeping Beauty' is renowned for its grand narrative and exquisite melodies. For this performance, two principal dancers from the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan, Yerkin Rakhmatullayev and Shugyla Adepkhan, will travel to Hong Kong to perform as guest artists. They will join senior students from the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet and talented awardees of the Wong Chun Fong Memorial Scholarship to recreate the captivating story of Princess Aurora and Prince Désiré. This event serves as a significant bridge for artistic exchange and a milestone for aspiring young dancers.

The performance will be held at the Grand Theatre of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. The venue is easily accessible via the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and Star Ferry pier.
