Program
Designed by instructor Lau Yuet-po of "Moon House Handmade," this workshop guides participants in creating a seasonal floral arrangement using physalis as the primary material. You will learn the art of bamboo weaving to structure your floral display, harmoniously blending flowers, vessels, and festive vibes. Under expert guidance, you will explore the elegant forms of lisianthus and asparagus fern, learning the fundamentals of composition and beauty in traditional Ikebana. This course is perfect for those who appreciate lifestyle aesthetics and handmade crafts, allowing you to narrate the serenity of autumn and the joy of the festival through floral arrangements.

This event is presented by the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) and taught by experienced floral instructor Lau Yuet-po (Moon House Handmade, L3-05B), who will lead participants into the world of Ikebana.
Venue & Access
The workshop takes place at JCCAC L4-03A in Shek Kip Mei. The center, located on Pak Tin Street, is a hub for local creativity and is easily accessible via public transport.
Ticketing
Participation is limited to 10 individuals, so early registration is encouraged. The fee is HKD 250, and the duration is approximately 1.5 hours. Please note that the event has an age restriction (18+), and participants will use floral scissors during the session. In case of inclement weather, please refer to JCCAC’s official announcements for cancellation and refund policies. Fees for no-shows due to personal reasons will not be refunded, while fees for cancellations due to low enrollment will be fully returned.
