This workshop focuses on the iconic Peony in Chinese brush painting. Instructor Joyce will provide step-by-step guidance on the "small-sketch" (xiao xie yi) techniques, covering:

• Brushwork & Ink: Learning the basics of handling the brush to capture the vitality of the peony.
• Color Theory: Mastering essential mixing techniques to create depth and texture in the petals.
• Composition: Understanding traditional structural methods to achieve the artistic theme of "Blooming Flowers and Full Moon."
