Program

As the finale of the "What is Guqin?" dynasty series, "Warring States & Han Dynasty - Origins" traces the origins of Chinese music to the ancient times, Spring and Autumn, Warring States, and Han Dynasty. The performance is divided into five chapters: "Asking Heaven, Asking Dao, Asking Tripod, Asking Heart, and Returning to One." It begins with ancient sounds from the Qinghua Bamboo Slips' "Yue Feng" and blends Guqin with multimedia art to present a world filled with myth and epic grandeur.
