Hong Kong Secondary School Singing Contest 2026

Highlights

Presented by the Hong Kong Youth Service and supported by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission, the 'Hong Kong Secondary School Singing Contest 2026' is dedicated to fostering positive thinking and perseverance among local teenagers through music. This year's competition has been incredibly competitive, whittling down over 150 applicants from nearly 100 secondary schools to the top 15 finalists who will take to the stage at the Dragon Centre.

Program

The finals feature a high-stakes 'single-song knockout' format accompanied by a live band, testing the contestants' raw vocal ability and stage presence. To prepare, finalists underwent three specialized vocal training workshops led by vocal coach Mr. Wong Kin-kan (勤老師) to hone their performance skills.

Performers & Judges

The event features singer J.ARIE as a special guest performer. The elite panel of judges includes experienced music producer Fong Shu-leung, singer-songwriter Edwin Tong, and radio DJ Jason Yip, who will provide professional critiques throughout the contest.

Venue & Access

The event will take place at the 1/F Lobby of the Dragon Centre in Sham Shui Po. Featuring an open-stage design, the finals are accessible to the public for free, allowing everyone to witness these young talents' journeys firsthand.

Ticketing

This event is completely free of charge. No tickets are required; the public is welcome to attend and cheer for the contestants.
