Program Overview

The "Try-it-out" Acting Introductory Class (31st & 32nd Intakes), presented by the HKRep Education Centre, is a foundational course specifically designed for theatre novices. Over a 10-hour curriculum, participants will explore the fundamentals of acting through various activities, including theatre games, physical training, role-playing, and group improvisation. The course aims to stimulate the imagination by using sound, costumes, and objects, helping students step outside their daily routines and experience the joy of character portrayal. The final session, a "Character Party," allows students to immerse themselves in designed scenarios and apply their acting intuition in a realistic and natural way.
