Program
'When the World Learns to Walk Backwards,' a stage reading written by Lena Gorelik and directed by Fung Ka-fai, invites audiences into a surreal world where rules and logic are turned upside down. Through the perspectives of characters Joshi and Mira, the play questions our unquestioning obedience to societal norms. With whimsical imagery—dogs meowing, shoes biting, and a grandfather moving into a doghouse—the production reflects on the rigid structures of society and the innate human desire for liberation. When the established order is disrupted, can we discover new ways to navigate our existence?
