"Wayfarer of Fire" brings together a compelling collection of works that explore Prometheus-inspired revolutionary visions through the lenses of film, sound, and labor. Program

The exhibition showcases creations by a stellar lineup, including He-Xi Xu, Kwan Sheung Chi, Lai Chih-Sheng, Philippe Li, Ellen Pau, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, and Samson Young. A centerpiece of the exhibition is Ellen Pau’s 1989–90 single-channel video work "Blue." Created using a Betamax recorder and featuring the haunting score by Meredith Monk, this work reconstructs war footage, moving trains, and dance into a dark, visceral sequence. It captures an uncontrollable impulse for mobilization and serves as a powerful inquiry into the act of remembering and forgetting.
