The Blue House Architecture and the legendary Hong Kong plastic brand "Red A" (Star Industrial Co., Ltd.) present the "Time Shaping Light" exhibition. Through a curated collection of rare and classic plasticware, the exhibition invites visitors to step back in time and appreciate the local aesthetics and industrial legacy of Hong Kong's golden era.

Program

The exhibition is divided into two distinct segments, showcasing the essence of Red A's iconic designs:

1. Rare Plastic Crystal Chandelier Exhibition: Located at the House of Stories, this showcase features four models of Red A plastic chandeliers from the 1960s to 1980s, including the No.164, No.165, No.182, and No.1642. These lights, which once adorned countless Hong Kong households, are now preserved and presented within the historic Blue House.
2. Market Red Lamp Shade Mid-Autumn Special Exhibition: The Blue House corridor is transformed into a festive, atmospheric space featuring the signature Red A "market red lamp shades." The warm, radiant glow of the lamps, combined with creative eco-friendly lanterns, merges traditional industrial design with the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival, creating a unique urban photography spot.

Ticketing & Conservation

The exhibition is free of charge. Voluntary donations are encouraged at the venue, with all proceeds going to the "We嘩藍屋" (We-Wow Blue House) cultural conservation project to support community revitalization efforts.

Venue & Access

The exhibition is held at the House of Stories, G/F, 72A Stone Nullah Lane, Wan Chai. As a Grade I historic building, the Blue House itself serves as a living testimony to local heritage, providing a perfect backdrop for this journey through Hong Kong's history.
